When we got into the place, the guy let us see what was happening in the brick oven and let us watch the pizza being made.  He told us why the oven was built that way so that not too much heat or air would get out so the pizza would get hot and cook better.  We were also allowed to take pictures next to the oven and while we were looking the whole pizza was cooked really fast.
The pizza is really thin.  Carl said the crust is chewy and I think its soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.  The sauce is very runny and the cheese is in dots on the pizza.  The cheese is mozzarella cheese and its really thick.  We sat upstairs and it’s all windows except the roof and there’s a real tree up there and one of the leaves fell off.
Editors note: we came during happy hour and the pizza was half price.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza and Uncle Larry got a pizza with a lot of different cheese and tomatoes.  My pizza had a lot of cheese which was melted all over the entire slice.  The crust is very dry and good and the tomato sauce isn’t runny and stays in one place.  The pepperoni is a little spicy which i like.  The pizza Uncle Larry got (editors note: it was a margherita alla napolentana) had a lot of mushrooms, tomatoes and maybe some spinach and a lot of cheeses.  It was really good.  The two pizzas were enough for all three of us.  They were really nice and gave us Halloween rings and Carl got a Dum Dum and I got a Reeses.
p.s.  It’s not that big, so if you get there when is crowded you might gave to wait.  It wasn’t crowded when we went but I bet sometimes it is.
4.0 slices I give them 4 stars.

Carl said as we walked in and I agree – this place is fancy.  We had like 3 people waiting on us and one brought us a coloring book and crayons.  I like that they gave us 4 different types of bread.  And I like how one wall in the dining room is all windows.  We ordered Roy Rogers to drink and they put two dark cherries on a stick.  The waitress said they were sweeter than the normal cherries.
The pizza i good.  The crust is really thin and easy to break. It is the thinnest crust we had so far. The sauce is fresh but there’s not that much of it.  And there’s barely any cheese but that’s a good thing.  The desserts are really fancy too and we got a honey gelato.
4.0 slices I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s fancy and the pizza is good.

We used to come when they first opened but they didn’t have drinks we liked so we stopped coming.  But now we like Roy Rogers and Shirley Temples so we came back.  We are sitting at an outside table and we ordered meatballs and a margherita pizza – how wonderful dinner!!  The meatballs are good and the bread with the meatballs was really really good.
The waiter, David,  just brought us out 4 extra cherries for our drink and we didn’t even ask him.  Yay!  The waiter is really nice.
The pizza sauce is like tomatoey so it tastes more like fresh tomatoes. The pizza is made an old fashioned oven where me and Carl looked at the fire through the window. For dessert we had raspberry and line sorbet and it was excellent!
4.0 slices The nomad pizza is actually really good. I give it all 4 stars!

We came here because we heard from Uncle Larry that it was voted one of the best places in the country.  I told the waitress that they can put the sauce on the top and cheese on the bottom and I got mushrooms on it too.  We also ordered mussels and Roy Rogers to drink.  The mussels are almost as good as Marras which is right there (pointing across the street).  Some mussels are orange and my favorite part is the stringy part.
4.0 slices I give this pizza 4 slices even thoigh the crust was a little burnt.
I like the way they have a garage door in the seating area and you can see good. Its a really big window.

Every week we went for pizza and saw a sign that said “Best Pizza on South Street” but it was at a bar.  One week we finally decided to try it and it really was the best.

The pizza is big like Lorenzo and Sons and it should get 4 slices.  The fries are really good also.  Carl added that “the pizzas are really, really, really good.”

You can sit upstairs or downstairs but we like to sit upstairs where it’s quieter and it’s like our own place because we’re the only ones who sit upstairs.   They also have drinks like Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers (which Uncle Larry says is cola and grenadine).

Carl just said that he wanted me to write that down but he didn’t tell me what to write down.  Sometimes Carl doesn’t make any sense.

4.0 slices I’m giving this place 4 slices because the pizza is really good, the pizza is really big, and the servers are really nice.
Carl says “You also get 2 cherries in your Shirley Temple.”

This is a very nice place. I like it here. The people here are very nice to us. Carl added that this place is very fancy too. We miss the old bartender because she was really nice and she suggested Shirley Temples the first time and Carl remembers that they got 2 cherries the first time too.

This is the first place that I had mussels but I also like the pizza.

I like the pizza because it has a thin crust. I like thin crust better.

small 4.0 slices I’m giving this place 4 stars because the pizza is really good, the service is good, the bathrooms are nice and the restaurant is nice so that makes 4. Carl wants to give it a 5 for the mussels but 4 is the highest.

Lorenzo and Son’s on South Street

We decided to go to the famous Lorenzo and Son’s for our first trip. The pizza was big and good. It was thin but very filling. I did not even finish my pizza because it was so big and filling. I drunk Orange Crush soda. I put oregano on my pizza and we’re lucky that we go on Tuesday because it is Topping Tuesday and we can also get mushrooms and olives if we want.

They had no bathrooms so my brother had to hold it in until we found one in The Lite Choice. They had some seats but they were tooken up because there weren’t that much. So we had to walk all the way to the South Street bridge and sit on the grass right before you got on the bridge.

small 2.0 slicesThis got 2 slices out of 4 because they had no bathrooms and tables but the pizza was big and good and the employee was nice so it got 2 pizza slices.
